Dear Fans,
Over the years, you have seen us go to battle on the field in the greatest sports rivalry on earth. While we don’t presume to speak for others, we have found that our relationship with God has brought us victory off the field in the greatest challenge of all, the game of life. We would like to share with you the foundation of our beliefs, which we ask you to thoughtfully consider.
-We believe there is a real God Who knows and cares about us.
-Each of us has done wrong (sinned). This causes a problem between God and us.
-Jesus is God in human form. He said, “I and The Father are one.”
-Jesus came to this world to die to pay for our sin. He said, “I came to give my life as a ransom for many.”
-He said, “Whoever believes in Me is not condemned but whoever does not believe stands condemned already.”
-To have forgiveness and eternal life we need to personally ask Jesus to be our Savior and Lord. He said, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door I will come into him.”
-Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
Overcoming a life of sin, guilt and emptiness proved to be our greatest opponent. We don’t pretend to have all the answers but through our relationship with Christ we have found forgiveness, direction and satisfaction. He offers the same to you.
